Energy Smart Eastside is installing free heat pumps in qualified Adult Family Homes.
Our Adult Family Home program is now closed. We were pleased to work with over 50 Adult Family Homes on the Eastside in 2025. Stay tuned for further updates in 2026.
How does the program work?
Heat pumps are a proven solution for heating and cooling buildings, they reduce monthly energy bills and increase comfort on hot and smoky days.

Energy Smart Eastside’s Adult Family Home Program is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act (CCA). The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
