Energy Smart Eastside Boost Program
Free heat pumps for income qualified residents.
The Energy Smart Boost Program funds 100% of heat pump purchase and installation costs for income-qualified homeowners. Eligibility is limited to residents of Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Redmond and Sammamish with household income below 80% of area median income, and who currently have a gas or oil furnace.
Applications are currently open for residents of Redmond, Issaquah, and Sammamish. We expect to reopen applications for Bellevue, Kirkland, and Mercer Island in January 2026.
